Celtic Sea Salt, also known as Breton grey salt (Sel Gris), is harvested from the coastal salt marshes of Brittany, France. It is known for its natural grey colour, slightly moist texture and traditional hand-harvesting methods. The salt is unrefined and free from additives.

Production

Seawater evaporates naturally in shallow pools through sun and wind. The remaining salt is collected by hand and packaged without refining.

This product is non-iodised. In Switzerland, the use of iodised salt is generally recommended.
